Born in one of the most prolific tea-producing regions in Japan, Shizuoka Prefecture, Mr. Miura grew up surrounded by the enchanting world of tea from a young age. The unique environment of Shizuoka, where even tap water flows with green tea, fostered a deep connection with tea beyond compare to anywhere else.

After gaining diverse experiences in fields such as magazine editing and food sales in Japan, Thailand, and London, Mr. Miura transitioned into the Japanese tea industry, leveraging the invaluable insights garnered from his varied background. Following a period of apprenticeship at a Shizuoka tea wholesaler, he founded Nihonchaseikatsu Co., Ltd. 
With an intricate understanding of producers, tea artisans, wholesalers, Mr. Miura serves not only as an enthusiast but as a promotion professional, contributing his knowledge, experience, connections, and discerning palate to select high-quality tea from an impartial standpoint.

Furthermore, he actively engages in supporting the exportation of Japanese tea, participating in events promoting Japanese tea and conducting market research worldwide.
